Ah. Where did that youthful energy go?

Early Death Battle was raw. They did stupid stuff like have Rogue beat Wonder Woman because Woman Woman has exposed skin. But they also had heart. They had energy. They didn’t mind calling Michelangelo retarded or making gay jokes about He-Man and Lion-O. They didn’t mind doing Fox McCloud vs Bucky O’Hare just to do Fox McCloud vs Bucky O’Hare.

 

Nothing gold can stay.

 

The Super Strunties have the same categories (and new ones!) as the Strunties, but apply to all of Death Battle history from Samus vs Boba Fett to Broly vs Hulk.

5. Gwen vs Babs, for being lame and for being obvious after Bucky vs Jason
6. Crona vs Venom, for pitting Venom against a character that prominently used his weakness
7. Sephiroth vs Vergil. Sephiroth should have been for a FF villains BR, Virgil should have been for Sesh
8. Tifa vs Yang for unholy shilling
9. Broly vs Hulk for ending a season saturated with capes with a cape character
10. Starscream vs horse for being clickbait of the lowest kind and being rigged
11. Scorpion vs Ryu for not being Liu Kang vs Ryu
